Tribute to them: Sichuan Earthquake Fund


Big hearts, a big donation: The Star’s Sichuan Quake Fund received an early boost, with Steven Yeam Network donating RM180,000 on Sunday. SYN’s founder Steven Yeam (fourth from left) handed the cheques over to The Star’s managing editor David Yeoh (second from right). Feng shui experts pledge fees to China quake fund
Two China-based feng shui practitioners have pledged do donate every sen of their consultation fees to help earthquake survivors in Sichuan. Penang-born Master Tan Kuan Yew, 53, and his assistant Francis Kam, 47, have agreed to a request by a Chinese daily in Penang to help raise money for the victims by offering their skill and expertise.
